I have a question for Lee (but it would be good to get ideas from other people too).
I have been following your advice of telling stories, pausing so that the girl picks up the conversation, and then leaving when there is an ‘energy spike’.
This is starting to work well, but the only problem is that I don’t really get to go into rapport-building conversations. For example, I pause and she says “So where are you from originally” and then I say “London, but let’s talk about something more interesting because I have to go…have you ever had a one night stand?” This can lead us to another fun story and a sexier conversation, BUT I feel like I’m missing the chance to actually get to know her. And I think those emotional connections are what makes her want to actually see me again.
So, how important is it to build an emotional connection? Should I still leave if I haven’t built up rapport with her?
