    Hi guys,

I have been reading pick up specific stuff for quite some time and feel like I have an idea of what I need to be practicing on.

I still feel like there is more useful information out there. However, I do not want to overburden myself with conflicting theories (e.g. Mystery method, daygame, etc.). I am more interested in books like “My Secret Garden” by Nancy Friday, which even though not directly related to pick up are still useful to reinforce the right mindsets.

Do you have any favorites, that after you’ve read them have enabled you to make a positive change in your behavior around females? Thanks for the help 🙂

    Regards,
    Zhelyazko

‘The way of the superior man’ by David Deida is worth a look.

I gravitate toward nonfiction. These were all game changers for me:

    Impro: Improvisation and the Theatre

True and False: Heresy and Common Sense for the Actor

    The Female Brain

If I can make a recommendation of my own of a couple of recently read books that made a good impression on me:
The Four Hour Chef – Tim Ferris (how to learn any skill faster)
The Seven Habits of Effective People – Steven Covey (useful habits to aim to incorporate over time)

Sometimes old coming of age books can be helpful. Even books written for young people (young adults, etc). Sometimes I’ll pick up a book that I read when I was, say 12 or 13 and look at it again to kind of see how they developed through a stage that I might not have picked up on at the time. I’ll have to think about books, but there’s lots of examples in film.

For some reason, reading books about human psychology (especially relationship psychology) messes me up, so I actually avoid them–although I know a lot of other people like them.

I liked this one, which despite its title, deals with philosophy and how society and religion conspire to create sexual repression :

Sex Matters : From Sex to Superconsciousness By Osho ….

    Also this one :

    Finding Flow – Mihaly csikszentmihalyi
