I start conversations with random women all the time. More often than not, I don’t typically “walk up to them” unless I’m being more direct in opening conversation (i.e. I just had to come tell you that you’re cute). Usually what I do is just ‘happen to end up next to’ a cute girl and start a conversation more indirectly. I’ll stand next to a cute girl at a store or sit next to a cute girl on the train or in the park. And then I’ll start talking with them.
