You are doing everything right. Make sure you’re not going out of your way to make it happen and make sure she knows it. Flirt, qualify, escalate, drag her into the hot zone. You’ll know soon enough if the boyfriend comment was a deal breaker or a knee jerk reaction to being confronted with an important decision.
