I think if she texts you something like ‘good morning my king’, you should text her something nice back. Surely you want to reward her for saying something like that, not punish her. If you’re ignoring her attempts to be affectionate, that’s probably quite painful for her.

Unless I’m misunderstanding you and your texts about surgery were after that message? If so, nevermind!
