You strike me as being extremely reluctant to go off-radar. That’s a sign that you really do need to get off the grid and make yourself scarce for awhile.

Ultimately, is a potential rekindling of a relationship w/her going to depend on whether or not you send her a “Happy New Year” text? Of course not.

But the fact that you feel that you need to do this, and/or calculate simple texts like this with help from the forum, means that your’e still very much in her hands. Not only is that not good for a potential relationship between you and her, but it’s also bad for your well-being right now. You need to do your own thing, and if she happens to find a way into that in a way that works, well great.

So yeah–skip the New Year text for now. She’ll probably assume you were busy doing something entertaining.
