But if you give a girl a qualification with a straight face like. “So you don’t read any books?” with a quizzical look like she’s a moron, then she’ll hate you.

So I guess qualification under the umbrella term of flirting or teasing is ok. But don’t overdo it or else it’ll seem forced, like you read it in a pickup manual or something.
