I’m Going to Go Home and Cry

Women will mess with you.
They’ll tease you and bust on you.
And occasionally, they’ll be downright mean.
It can get confusing because if a girl says something “mean” to you, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t like you.
In fact, it could mean the exact opposite.
After all, we are using the same exact tools: busting on her and having fun with her.
If you’re going to dish it out, you should be able to dish it in.
That’s why it’s important to learn how to handle resistance from women.
Some people call these “shit tests.” Whether she’s doing it to test you or simply because she plays rough, it’s good to know what to do.
I’ve talked before about how to handle shit from women. The most basic way to handle it is to ignore it. Move on to a different topic of conversation.
Another way to handle it is to agree and amplify. She says, “You’re shirt is gay.” You agree and then exaggerate what she just said.
“Yup. It was the gayest one I could find in the gay store.”
Another great way I like to handle shit from women is what I call The Sensitive Guy.
If I’ve gone up to her and talked to her, she assumes I’ve got a lot of confidence.
If ever in conversation I’ve told women that it used to be really really hard for me to talk to strangers, they never believe me, even though it’s the truth.
She assumes I have a ton of confidence since I was able to start a conversation with her sober.
So when she says something mean, I’ll call it out and joke that it hurt my feelings.
“Oh my god,” I’ll say. “I can’t believe you said that. I’m so sensitive. Now I’m going to go home and cry all night.”
They always laugh. They can hear in my tone of voice that I’m being sarcastic.
In fact, whenever I say to women anything about being a sensitive guy, they always laugh.
That means I’m doing my job and coming across as just a bit of an asshole rather than a nice guy.
You can even take this whole thing further and bust on her for being mean. And you can continue to interpret things she says as mean later in the conversation.
Every once in a while you can tell her how mean she is.
You can do it so much that after a while, she’s trying to convince you that she’s not mean. It’s fun and puts her gently on the defensive.

haha actually happened to me and still happening.. the truth is that when this girl is doing it i love it so much.. man it drives me crazy… we talk and she start bullshitting me and i beleive her and when i realize it we laugh and i love it.. niice post Eric.. interesting to know that same things could happen to men..!

I remember you demonstrating this in the in-field audio I was listening too. It was pretty awesome to witness her escalate the tests more and more in a desperate attempt to get a reaction from you.
She literally couldn’t belief you were so rock-solid in the face of her testing.

This exactly what I needed right now. The girl I’m currently seeing of a few months constantly ‘rags’ on me, sometimes even unknowingly she admits. I think it’s her way of qualifying me to ensure my strength in the dominant position. I’ve noticed it can be easy to get down on yourself after some verbal abuse, but after reading this post I will put some of these tactics to good use.

Being cocky and funny is great for the first few weeks. She loves busting my balls, I love being a jerk to her. But after a while it can get a bit demanding to always be vigalent.
How do you go about this in a longer relationship? Do you keep being cocky and funny and dominant and all that for years and years? I cant begin to imagine how to do that. I love playing the game, but sometimes I would like a time-out if you know what I mean.
What do you think Eric? Are long term relationships at all possible?

That’s really the challenge when it comes to relationships. The biggest thing that kills relationships: boredom. If you don’t keep your partner on her toes sometimes, then she’ll start to get bored.
This doesn’t mean that love and companionship don’t count for anything. And you’re not fucking with her as much during the relationship as you do right at the very beginning.
But you do have to keep that fun, playful vibe going or else things will get stale quick.

Classic example:the kindergarten to junior high scenario.The little girl like the shit out of the boy who’s always messing with her.But the way she reacts to him is with disdain,anger,hitting him,screaming at him and reporting him to the teacher.Who would ever knew that such actions would come from the girl who likes the boy lol?
