Ping is a computer network administration utility used to test the reachability of a host on an Internet Protocol (IP) network and to measure the round-trip time for messages sent from the originating host to a destination computer. The name comes from active sonar terminology.

Eric, how can I fix things. I’ve regained a ton of confidence through reading the posts on this site and I’ve really noticed how improved my conversation skills are, particularly with girls that I’ve never really talked with before. Since I’m still in high school and I’m a relatively new transfer student to a new school in the same district, it’s easy for me to find targets that I’ve never engaged in conversation with before, but the number of girls that I haven’t talked with are quickly slimming down. I’m very likeable, and I guess you could say I’m attractive as well, everyone in the classroom knows my name because of the outrageous comments I blurt that always seem to get a laugh. But I have a problem of the past that follows me everywhere I go, even with the skills your site teaches me- creepy text conversations that I’ve had with girls at this school, that they will never forget. I want to absolve myself of these conversations, erase their memories of me selling myself to them, complimenting them into eternal creepiness, saying that they’re “beautiful” countless times, so that they will hopefully approve of me. How can I move past the fact that these girls think I’m a weenie? There’s plenty of fish in the sea, but I would love to regain confidence and stature with these specific gals. Any advice?
