It sounds as if AA remains, but it’s no longer a pain; it transforms into a feeling of excitement.. is that what the lesson is? I’m confused..

Yeah, that's pretty much what it is. There is always that feeling when you are challenging yourself. After a while you learn how to accept that feeling rather than be paralyzed by it. When you accept it, that's when it can start to work for you instead of against you. It makes you more alive and focused.

[Editor's Note: There were some comments posted about other pickup companies here. I welcome any and all discussion about anything related to approach anxiety. I even welcome it when people vehemently disagree with what I've written. However, unless it is in reference to a specific technique or principle, I don't want comments about which companies are great, which ones suck, etc. Those comments are deleted. Thanks -Eric]

AA will always be there as long as you are a normal human being. It's like crying, smiling or laughing unless you've had bad experiences over and over and over to the point where these things didnt make a difference then you'd stop crying/laughing etc at the worst of situations and that's bad because that makes you a robot. I get AA everytime I see something like a target too hot, moving too fast in opposite direction because I have to improvise and keep it together but I yern for the pounding heart, rushing blood, sweaty palms, shaky legs, shaky voice 'cuz I have just met my match and I have just met that girl I couldn't think I could have or could ever talk to and with that thought in my head I go ahead and open her and everything calms down. I have associated and channeled my AA with approach and once that is achieved I am all darn done and bring out the 007 smoothness.
"It is my challenge.

It is my excitement.

It is my last frontier."

I hear you, brother.
