I've read it twice and it still makes little sense - to be frank what the fuck does your ancestry have to do with AA? - I think I'll blame my AA on my ancestors! And just because you father children doesn't mean you're Alpha and all that "If there were two men and two women living on an island, statistically both women would reproduce with one guy and not the other. Which guy are you?" This would totally contradict the research stated in Sperm Wars book - essentially women would fuck with as many men as possible and let the 'best' sperm win. Also I'd point out that centuries ago -and it can happen nowadays - pregnancy and childbirth were risky for women - they could and did die. Not so for men. So think about it? Our ancestors biggest risk takers were...women! I'm not saying women are better than men. I'm not convinced. I do agree that taking calculated risks in life IS a good thing. "Society tries to tell you to be the nice, socially passive guy and eventually it will just happen for you." The best and truest line from this article. I think the main cause of AA is lots of social pressure - be nice, don't talk to strangers, don't rock the boat, be normal...
