Rich, I like to keep it simple and follow the strategies Ron Louis and David Copeland recommend in their book, "How to talk to women." If you don't have that book, I recommend it (or their other one, How to succeed with women).

I am the same way as Dave Stern, i usually dont approach because i dont really know what to do after i open them. Anyone have any advice on what to do after the initial approach?

Rich...I'm not sure what to say after the opener most of the time too but I still try to open as much as I can. Just try to vibe and stay in set as long as you can. As you continue to do that, do some research on midgame stuff and escalation. What have you got to lose if you open her and got nothing after the initial opener? Even if it's a boring conversation, you still feel good after you've done it.

Be careful because sometimes your mind will make that excuse so that you stay in your comfort zone.

This is my favorite of the interviews you've posted so far, Eric. You and Dave really hit on some deep topics and explore why we approach approaching the way we do.

I especially like the idea of living in the moment. It's hugely important. How you approach the present is how you will likely approach the future. I know so many people who want great things, and I would bet anything they will be unhappy when they get there.

You and Dave reminded me to enjoy and appreciate the e-mails and first dates I've been taking for granted lately. If I'm not in the moment on those dates, then I won't be in the moment when I go further with a girl.

If anyone wants my own take on how to exist "in the moment" - what has worked for me - they can look at http://cosmictips.blogspot.com/2007/05/notice-moment.html

Thanks as always for the great content and encouragement.
